Cecelia has a charming hand-painted miniature bird and floral scene and was hand-made in the USSR, near Moscow in the village Fedoskino. Fedoskino is one of the four art centers in Russia known for their miniature painting and the only school that uses oil paints to paint their boxes. This box is painted and marked by a professional artist of Fedoskino Oil. With a shiny lacquer finish and polish, Cecelia is in excellent condition. Her dimensions are 2.75" long x 1.5" wide x 1.25" tall and she has a "strike anywhere" surface on her base.
