Oh, Amber, "you came and you gave without taking...And I need you today!"  Amber is Barry Manilow cheesy song lyrics-worthy - she is TOO GOOD!  She is definitely a collector's piece, made of Amberina Glass who's color shading is due to the effects of reheating the top part of the blown glass before allowing it to cool, which shades in color from amber at the bottom to red at the top.  Lucky the "winner" of this sweet dish!  She dates to the 1950s and measures 4.25" diameter x 9" tall (lidded).
