Like the lily blooming in muddy waters, Lily and Lilliana have made it through decades of life and are as beautiful as ever. These Swedish mod brass lily candlestick holders date to the 1930s and we can't stop fanning out over them! These gals are the now-iconic “Liljan” candleholder design, made by Swedish artist Ivar Ålenius-Björk for the Scandinavian Pavilion of the 1939 New York World’s Fair. Ålenius-Björk was primarily known as a portrait sculptor—his statues and busts can still be seen all over Sweden—but he also designed candlesticks for the manufacturer Ystad-Metall. Lily and Lilliana measure 5" tall x 8.5" wide and are sold as a pair, and include their own candlesticks.

*This pair is highly collectible and are priced accordingly.
