Maddie is a cheerful and chic, large cobalt blue Empoli Art Glass lidded vessel who is here to add some mid-century style to your pad.   With curvy shape and finialed lid - a real collector's piece - she is an ideal size and would sit beautifully displayed on any cocktail table.  Empoli is a region on the west side of Italy, southwest of Florence in the province of Tuscany. Like its better known counterparts to the northeast, Empoli has been producing and exporting glass since the 14th century. Maddie measures 7” diameter x 9" tall (lidded) and dates to the 1960s.
